खाली दिमाग का घंटाघर!

यूँ ही राह चलते क्या तलाशते रहते हो जब किसी से यूँ ही नज़रें मिल जाती हैं...किसी को तो ढूंढते हो. वो क्या है जो आँखों के सामने रह रह के चमक उठता है. आखिर क्यूँ भीड़ में अनगिन लोगों के होते हुए, किसी एक पर नज़र ठहरती है. वो एक सेकंड के हजारवें हिस्से में किसी की आँखों में क्या नज़र आता है...पहचान, है न? एक बहुत पुरानी पहचान. किसी को देख कर न लगे कि पहली बार देखा हो. जैसे कि इस खाली सड़क पर, खूबसूरत मौसम में अकेले चलते हुए तुम्हें उसे एक पल को देखना था...इतना भर ही रिश्ता था और इतने भर में ही पूरा हो गया. रिश्तों की मियाद कितनी होती है? कितना वक़्त होता है किसी की जिंदगी में पहली प्राथमिकता होने का...आप कभी भी ताउम्र किसी की प्राथमिकता नहीं बन सकते, और चीज़ें आएँगी, और लोग आयेंगे, और शहर मिलेंगे, बिसरेंगे, छूटेंगे...कितना बाँधोगे मुट्ठी में ये अहसास कि तुम्हारे इर्द गिर्द किसी की जिंदगी घूमती है. कुछ लोग आपके होते हैं...क्या होते हैं मालूम नहीं. वो भी आपसे पूछेंगे कि उनका आपसे रिश्ता क्या है तो आप कभी बता नहीं पायेंगे, किसी एक रिश्ते में बाँध नहीं पाएंगे. प्यार कभी कभी ऐसा अमूर्त ह...

एक कहानी माँ की

रात हमारी आँखों से फिर बही कहानी माँ की । खिड़की से सटकर महकी जब रात की रानी माँ की । कढ़ी भात खट्टी चटनी और दाल परोंठे गोभी के, दही दूध अदरक लहसुन सी गंध सुहानी माँ की । बेसन की सोंधी रोटी-सा यह भी मुझको याद अभी, पीठ फेरकर पानी पीकर भूख छुपानी माँ की । घर के सुख में उसने खुद को पूरा - पूरा बाँट दिया, दो जोड़े सूती धोती में गई जवानी माँ की । आज अचानक उसको देखा अम्मा जैसी लगती थी, चाची के टूटे छज्जे पर दही मथानी माँ की । बाबा की वह गिरी हवेली दादी का तुलसी का चौरा, पिछवाड़े की नीम भी जाने उमर खपानी माँ की । जब गैया की पूँछ थी खींची गौरैया का अंडा फोड़ा, मेरे साथ नहीं सोना यह सज़ा सुनानी माँ की । छोड़-छाड़ कर चले गए सब किसको उसका याद रहा, बस बाबू को याद रही वो चिता जलानी माँ की । जब बच्चे के होने में मै तड़फ - तड़फ कर रोई थी, तब देखी थी अपने जैसी पीर उठानी माँ की । मैंने माँ की झुर्री को धीरे- धीरे ओढ़ लिया, कैसे मै बिटिया से कह दूँ बात पुरानी माँ की ।
